This story is about me (Zeke Walsh)
I was born at 25 weeks and 6 days gestation age. (i was born 14 weeks and 1 day early.) (3 1/2 months early.) They call me micro-preemie. I weighted 2 pounds and 13 inches tall! And today as march 31st 2009 I weight 22 pounds and 5 ounces. And I am 2 feet and 4.5 inches tall. (28 inches 1/2 tall.)
Le mwen te fet manman mwen te ansaint mwen pou 5 mois avec 6 jours. Mwen te fet 14 semain avec 1 jours boner. (3 1/2 edemi bonne.) Mwen te piti anpil. Mwen te peze 2 pois (2 livre.) epi oter mwen te 13 centimetre. Epi jaudi ya nan mois 31 mars 2009 mwen peze 22 pois edemi, epi ote mwen te 28 centimetre edemi.

As December 23, 2008 Zeke's started to crawl. I noticed he was crawling on his hands and knees 20 feet from the other room to our bedroom. Woohoo! He is growing so fast. Now instead of calling him my little peanut he is my big chestnut.

Dear friends and family,
it it very nice to get back in touch with you all again. Sorry for taking us so long but It has been very crazy here, there is no time to be lazy. I know some of you did not know that we moved from Minnesota in July 2008 to Oregon. We moved to Oregon because Sev was offered a good job without any warning (that's how coaching works) so we up and moved again right after Zeke came home from the hospital. (That was in June 2008) We were homeless for a couple weeks, because we didn't have enough time to look for a home. With Ezekiel being a micro preemie we had to have a certain kind of home that was not to old and not to new because of potential respiratory problems. It was only temporary as we found a home in Hillsboro that was new and had never been lived in but had been sitting empty for a few months. Zeke is growing a lot as of September 15Th Zeke weighed 14 pounds and 5 ounces with a height of 23 inches. He grows pretty fast and has no disability so far just small respiratory problem. His Doctor and the developmental physical therapist said that he is developing like he suppose to be and advance in alot of things also with his gestation age (That was his original due date, June 26) He was born march 18Th now he is over 7 months old this month (September 2008) and 4 months old gestation age. I can't believe it he is that old already. Zeke knows how to smile, laugh, He is very alert, He make good eye contact, even with strangers, he sits up and holds his head up very good laying on his tummy, he holds his head up very good while standing up also, he can stand up some by holding his waist or arms, he is very good with range of motion (like kicking, hitting) he is a happy baby. Zeke had to go home with the Apnea monitor to alert us in case he stopped breathing. They wanted him to have it as long as he needed it. Woohoo... now he doesn't need it anymore so, the monitor had been off. For the first time Zeke doesn't have any wires on his chest. So I will put his old (before) pictures from the hospital up also with the new (now) pictures so that you can see the differences. What else can I tell you? Sev love his job very much, he loves being the men and women's wrestling head coach and his boss is one of the greatest you could ever had. I am a stay at home mom right now, I love spending all day with Zeke. We are having fun!!! We are very thankful to you all so much for your prayers, caring, and your help. Without your prayers I don't know if we would make it safe and healthy. God listens to your prayers. We are so thankful for that and appreciate it. We can not thank you enough. Thank you so much our beloved friends and family and thank you to all friends and family for giving us a call and coming to see us at the hospital. Your supports was very helpful. I will put some of are information here for you.

Dear friends and family I just think I need to let you know what's going on today also. We are doing great here and we are keeping nice and warm here. I think some of you need to know that. we hardly have our heat on yet this year and, no snow. I can't believe it! Oh.. it is very nice here. We hope you all are keeping nice and warm too? Well our new news today, Zeke is doing great. He is growing very fast, I can't believe it. As of December 4Th 2008 he weighs 18 pounds and 20 ounces, he is 25 inches long (height) He is teething, he is learning how to eat cereal and doing other things like he suppose to. I want you to know there's a lot of pictures on this website to look at, there's over 300 pictures on there right now. I started from Zeke's day of birth till today, you can look at.
